‘Handmade in England’

All my products are handmade in England, well to be more precise in a workshop that looks out onto English countryside in a Hertfordshire valley.

I use only seasoned English Oak sourced from Forestry Commission approved suppliers. Every aspect of my business is handled by myself. Whether it’s negotiating the price of my next batch of oak, drawing a 3d visualisation of a commissioned piece of furniture, a site visit to discuss clients requirements, constructing and maintaining my website, photography of each product and of course not forgetting the actual process of making each piece.

This approach allows me to ensure the standard of workmanship consistently exceed my clients expectations. Furthermore, I actively encourage prospective clients to visit my workshop where they can see whatever pieces I am currently working on.

An adjoining cottage showcases many finished items and provides the perfect place to see my work in context – whether it’s a hallway console table, a simple cheese board or an 8 foot long dining table. It’s an ideal place to discuss commissions with clients as they can see my work in a relaxed setting and have a far better understanding of how their piece will eventually look.
